Peter joined MMA in 2022 as Client Relations Associate Director for Business Insurance. He works with the teams across Oregon to service mid and large size business accounts making sure MMA over delivers on the promise to protect and manage the risk of our clients. He believes in providing his team with a healthy work-life balance, challenging and meaningful work and plenty of room for growth; happy colleagues lead to happy clients which together makes a strong, productive community.

Peter chose a career in insurance because it was a vehicle to live his family motto of, “Do It For Humanity” and be of service to his community. His career started when he worked for a State Farm agent as an outside sales rep in Texas. Soon after Peter was able to move and start his own agency in Beaverton, Oregon. He was a successful insurance agent for almost 14 years and enjoyed wearing every ‘hat’. Peter attended the University of Texas at Austin and majored in Economics. He has also earned certificates in Conflict Resolution, Project Management and as a SCRUM master.

Peter has volunteered as a coach for soccer and flag football. He also donates his time for various charity events. For fun Peter, his wife and three kids enjoy traveling to sunny beaches, discovering new cuisines, visiting his large extended family and playing outdoors.
