Ed Heine Wins the Bruce T. Wallace Award

During the general session at the 2017 National Association of Surety Bond Producers (NASBP) Annual Meeting and Expo, Ed Heine, MMA’s Managing Director of the Construction Specialty Division – Surety Bonds, received the Bruce T. Wallace Award.

The Bruce T. Wallace Award is awarded to an individual who has distinguished himself or herself through years of exceptional service to NASBP and to the surety industry. The recipient is an individual who has conducted themselves throughout his or her career in accordance with the highest ethical standards and who has demonstrated a service characterized by commitment, consistency, intensity and impact. It is noteworthy that the Bruce T. Wallace Award is not necessarily presented every year, but only when a candidate meeting these high standards is nominated.

NASBP President Lynne W. Cook said, “I am honored to present the National Association of Surety Bond Producers Bruce T. Wallace Award to Edward Heine. We have chosen the person I believe is the “Thought Leader Extraordinaire of NASBP”.

Since 1979, Ed has been dedicated to the surety bond and construction risk industry, and joined MMA Insurance in 1990. As the Managing Director, Construction Specialty Division – Surety Bonds, Ed dedicates his time to helping clients and colleagues with their strategic and operational needs.  His current focus includes the growth and sustainability of their Construction Specialty Division, serving clients in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana through a network of 30 offices.
