Suzetta Fredrickson Celebrates 15 Years With Marsh McLennan Agency

Suzetta has worked in insurance for 20 years and has been with MMA since 2002. She currently works as a personal insurance support specialist and has earned her Certified Insurance Service Representative designation. Suzetta started with insurance in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, in 1985 and has worked various areas of personal insurance. She worked as a personal lines underwriter for Wawanesa Insurance and moved to Richland, Washington, in 1995 after marrying her husband, John, who is from Richland.

Born in the Philippines, she graduated with a degree in elementary school education and was a school teacher. Suzetta loves to travel--she went to Madrid, Spain, and lived there for a couple of years, and then moved to Toronto, Canada, for 16 years. When she took her US citizenship, the Citizenship Judge was supposed to announce her place of birth as he called her name but instead of announcing Philippines, he said Canada. Her four-year old daughter noticed and said “He made a mistake; mom was made in the Philippines, not Canada.” Then her husband told her daughter, “That’s because your mom could not make up her mind where to live.” For graduation gift last summer, she took her daughter on a 14-day European cruise to the Baltics and they visited six countries. Aside from travelling, Suzetta enjoys gardening and cooking. She is the “Resident Chef” for the MMA Richland office; her colleagues enjoy trying her cooking inventions.
