Katie graduated from the University of Oregon in 2012. Post-college, Katie worked as a small and large group service representative on the carrier side at Moda Health where she grew her passion for the industry. Katie joined the MMA family in 2016. Since joining MMA she has significantly grown her knowledge and expertise in the Oregon and Washington markets as a large group client manager.   As a client manager Katie excels in benefit technology solutions, compliance, carrier negotiations, innovative ideas/solutions, benefit presentations and delivering excellent service. Katie enjoys upholding MMA’s reputation of building strong relationships with clients and sees herself as an extension of her client’s Human Resources team.   Katie is currently licensed in life and health in Oregon and Washington, completed MMA’s two year Service Mastery Program and has received company-wide recognition/awards for her service.   When Katie is not working, she enjoys exercising, cooking and traveling. She has previously volunteered as a Big Sister in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, Meals on Wheels, Multnomah County Search and Rescue and was on the committee for Oregon Association of Health Underwriter's Bernie Reid Scholarship program.
