Kruiz is a small-town guy from Saco, Montana, where he grew up on the family farm and ranch. He attended Montana State University-Bozeman where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in health and human performance. He played football for the MSU Bobcats from 2008-2012. After graduation, Kruiz worked in Homer, Alaska, on a sports fishing charter boat, which he says was, "An experience of a lifetime to meet people from all over the world and fish Cook Inlet where we would pull up massive fish everyday!" Shortly after his Alaskan adventure, he decided to make a career in insurance where he worked with an employee benefits agency before joining Marsh McLennan Agency's Select Account Division in 2015.   He enjoys being outdoors, fishing, riding his motorcycle, meeting new people, and spending time with his family and friends.
