Tyson is a risk manager and insurance broker at MMA. He focuses on the agribusiness sector with a specialization in the Dairy Revenue Protection Program, crop insurance and business insurance programs for the agribusiness and construction industries. Tyson brings nearly four years experience helping his clients manage their organizational risk. He offers clients his unique insights from more than a decade as a small business owner in the fitness industry. Tyson understands risk management from the owner’s perspective and leverages that experience to support his clients through their own business cycles. He works out of offices in Yakima and is a key participant in MMA’s Agribusiness and Construction Practices. Tyson has spearheaded the Dairy Revenue Protection Program and is the go-to resource for this program at MMA. He works with numerous dairies across the Pacific Northwest and has been a featured speaker on this emerging program. He cares deeply about the dairy industry and enjoys consulting with his dairy clients about how to mitigate some of the volatility inherent in the business. Tyson is also a significant contributor in our crop insurance division, focusing primarily on permanent crops; tree fruit and vineyards. Tyson is a Washington State native, growing up in the agribusiness community of Toppenish. He is an alumnus of Everest College (formerly Ashmead College) in Seattle.
