Garrett joined the MMA team in 2017. He comes to MMA with an extensive career in the insurance industry in various roles. Garrett graduated from the University of Wyoming with a degree in Spanish in 2004 and began looking for a career for which he is passionate. He started in insurance in 2005 and quickly realized that his passion for helping others fit perfectly with insurance.   After two years as a licensed sales producer, Garrett moved his family to Southern Oregon where he opened a State Farm agency. His agency was one of the top State Farm agencies in the territory.   Along with his desire to help his customers, he also had a desire to coach and help develop his fellow agents. For three years, he helped coach an Agency Development Program. It was this experience that led him to take a field leader position with Allstate. This was a great role as he was able to spend time coaching, training and developing agents and their staff along with recruiting and hiring new agents.   Even though Garrett was successful at his sales leadership role, his passion for working with customers and driving his own success led him back to personal production. He is very enthusiastic about the opportunity to work with MMA and the amazing team of colleagues.   Garrett spends much of his free time with his wife and children. He and his wife, Tamara, have been married since 2002 and have three children, Cohen, Tanner and Makinley. He loves to attend and be a part of their sports, fishing with them and just having a good time! He and Tamara love to get out for date nights. He also has a passion for delicious beer.   He is very excited to align with an amazing organization that holds the same values that he has set for himself.
