James joined MMA in 2026 as a Senior Underwriting Analyst. Based in Pendleton, Oregon, James supports our large group underwriting needs across Washington, Idaho, and Oregon. He complements the skillsets of our analysts and helps to strengthen our capabilities in the NW Region. With a decade of experience working with complex, self-insured clients at, James brings a wealth of expertise to our team. Known for his stellar reputation and engaging, gregarious personality, James comes highly recommended by several of our EH&B team members who have had the pleasure of working with him.

When he isn’t working, James spends time with his wife, Katie, and their three young children. James is also an avid golfer, loves to cook, and is a big Mariners fan.
