Mark joined the firm in 2014 as Construction Practice Leader and quickly advanced through several key leadership roles. He was first promoted to Managing Director and later appointed Head of the Business Insurance, where he advised clients and prospective partners on the optimal strategies to insure and strengthen their operations. His work in this role emphasized technical expertise, disciplined risk evaluation, and a collaborative, client-centric approach to program design.

Today, Mark serves as President of the Northwest Region, where he oversees all business segments—including Business Insurance, Employee Health & Benefits, Personal Insurance, and Surety. In this capacity, he is responsible for the region’s overall strategic direction, operational performance, and long-term growth. Mark leads all sales and production efforts across the Northwest, partnering with producers, practice leaders, and senior executives to drive market strategy, strengthen client relationships, and ensure delivery of the firm’s highest service standards.

Prior to joining the firm, Mark was an Executive Vice President and Practice Leader for the New York Construction Practice at Willis, where he led servicing, marketing, and consulting activities for several of the firm’s largest and most complex construction clients. His work spanned program design, alternative risk financing, wrap-ups, and negotiation of highly specialized placements.

Before his tenure at Willis, Mark served as an Associate Consultant at a national independent risk management firm specializing in feasibility development, implementation, and insurance placement strategy for major construction projects. His early experience supporting large-scale, multi-stakeholder programs provided the foundation for his later leadership roles.

Known for his steady leadership, strategic vision, and practical problem-solving approach, Mark brings more than two decades of experience guiding organizations through growth, change, and complex risk challenges.

Mark and his wife, Katy, live in Spokane, Washington with their four children and enjoy all the Pacific Northwest has to offer - spending time outdoors exploring the region’s lakes, mountains, and trails.
