Rob Wynegar is a Senior Risk Control Specialist with Marsh McLennan Agency based in Great Falls, Montana. Covering Eastern Montana, he provides hazard identification, risk assessment, risk control, safety management systems, regulatory compliance, and accident/incident investigation services to clients. Rob has 22 years of experience in risk control and compliance.

Prior to joining MMA, Mr. Wynegar was a safety professional for over nineteen years with Granite Construction, a heavy civil construction company. Rob was responsible for fleet safety in Granite’s PNW Region; including overseeing a fleet of 150 DOT vehicles and 200 DOT-regulated drivers. Rob was responsible for drivers’ file compliance, drivers’ safety, and claims management involving all DOT-rated drivers.

During his time as a safety professional, Rob worked in many different industries. Heavy civil construction was a large part of his experience, including asphalt and concrete paving, bridge and structure construction, underground construction, and grading. Also in his background is building all phases of solar farm construction.

Mining and asphalt plant safety are two other sources of expertise in Rob’s resume. This experience encompasses sand and gravel mines regulated by MSHA, including all phases of interaction with MSHA from training, plant inspection, and citation conferencing. Asphalt plant operations and safety are areas of expertise as well.
