Theresa joined MMA in 2016 as a benefit planning account manager. She has been in the insurance industry since 1993. She served many of those years as senior accountant of a Northwest regional finance center based in Yakima. Theresa joined the benefit team in 2005. Theresa has been a member of Insurance Professionals of Yakima County since 2005. Over the years, she has held several offices in the local association. She has served on the board, as well as secretary, treasurer, vice president and president. Theresa is married with a grown son. Her favorite part of the day is going home and making dinner with her husband each night. This is their way of catching up with each other, talking about the day and spending cherished time together. Spending time with her church family is something that Theresa also enjoys. She feels it is important to use one’s talents in service, so she serves her church on the Budget and Finance Committee, and is responsible for the Sunday school records. She also enjoys volunteering for Vacation Bible School.
