Tyler began his career with Marsh McLennan Agency in 2017 as a commercial insurance sales executive in the Bozeman office. He was born and raised in Cascade, Montana, and attended Montana Tech on a football scholarship. He graduated from Montana Tech with a Bachelor of Science in occupational safety and health.   Following graduation, Tyler spent five years as the safety director for Oftedal Construction in Miles City, Montana, and Casper, Wyoming. His primary responsibility was ensuring the safety of employees and compliance with federal agencies. He went on to spend nearly a decade as a senior risk consultant with Liberty Mutual Insurance, specializing in agricultural and construction. This provided him the opportunity to work with some of the largest companies in the Northwest.   Tyler made the decision to join MMA so he could take a more active role with his clients and share the knowledge he has gained in his previous positions. Trust and communication are values that Tyler strongly believes make a great working relationship.   Tyler and his wife, Sarah, a registered nurse, have two children, Jaxon and Lexie. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching his children play sports, hiking, golfing and hunting.
